In the update Genshin Impact 2.1, as promised, a new hero, Aloy, was added. Many are familiar with her, as she is the main character in Horizon: Zero Dawn and the upcoming Horizon: Forbidden West. The coolest thing is that you can get this character for free. The only condition that you have to fulfill is to increase your Adventure Rank to 20. For different platforms, getting Aloy is slightly different, but we will tell you everything in order for each platform.

How to get Aloy in Genshin Impact for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4:

  1. First you need to update the game to version 2.1;
  2. Going into the game, open the Mail tab in the main menu;
  3. You will see two awards letters. In the Persian letter there will be the character Aloy himself, and in the second there will be her weapon – a bow;
  4. That’s all, then you can add Aloy to your group.

Note: A letter with the character Aloy will appear only after reaching Adventure Rank 20. But don’t worry about not getting the reward in time. Aloy will be available until October 31 this year, so there is still time.

How to get Aloy in Genshin Impact on other platforms (Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC)

Since Aloy is a former Sony exclusive, players on other platforms will have to wait until the release of Update 2.2 to receive the character. But there is a way to get Aloy now. Because she was already added in update 2.1. To do this, you will need access to PlayStation console.
